Tis’ the season, or so they say anyway… While we find ourselves in what is commonly known as the “jolliest” time of year we cant help but reflect on where we are in the world and the state of hardships that small business and companies, not to mention the entire LA restaurant business, are currently facing. We happen to come across Suay Sew Shop by pure chance one day while looking for lunch in East Los Angeles and it was one of the best finds in this city to date. A company with its morals rooted and committed to global activism; Suay textiles are made of post-consumer waste, dead stock fabrics and organically grown fibers, operating on the mentality of “Know your grower, know your sew-er”. While providing some of the most comfy-cozy linens and pillows, it’s their curated selection of vintage clothing for us. And their masks have provided us with much comfort and style this year……we cant get enough.
